The new layout is really obnoxious. I'm there to do business, not meet a friend for a cup of coffee. Employees just floating around feels like servers at a bar. Find the whole experience very unprofessional. Up side is the employees have always been very friendly and helpful.

Best bank in all the world. Customer service is outstanding. You will always talk to an actual person, not a machine. Been with AlaskaUSA 17 years now and will never change.

The new North Pole Branch is extremely inefficient. I don't go to the bank to sit down at a table to have a homey chat, I want to get in and out ASAP. The tellers are using a cash machine akin to an atm and laptop computers. Come on people this is not a social event! It took way to long to conduct my business!

In 2017 I attempted to get a loan with them. I was preapproved fairly fast but when I told them I was looking at foreclosure homes they said a conventional home loan would not work for the house. I had done a bunch of research before had and knew this wasn’t the case. Two other local banks also agreed and I used one of them for my loan. Additionally you can typically see how you well you will be treaded by a bank by asking them to a few hundred dollars from 20s to a 100 the first time you walk into the bank. If they make a big fuss about you not having an account. Than it’s a bank that does not care enough about it customers or potential new ones and you probably should stay away. This bank does not pass that test.

They need an atm outside on the wall mall closes at 8pm so yeah No withdrawal slips ever is my favorite thing and open seven days a week

I've been banking with the North Pole branch for quite a few years & there are alot of banks to choose from, but I'll tell you what keeps me banking with you is the special treatment I receive everytime I walk in. Ms. Tabitha is the best ever & all the ladies working under her are the kindest & very professional. It's so special when they greet me by my name, what a personal touch. You are very fortunate to have such an asset in these women representing your bank.

I've always had good service here at Alaska USA FCU, my only complaint is the name change. I'm very disappointed that the members had no say in it , you never should have taken Alaska out of the name, i.e. "Alaska Global Credit Union" I have not talked to any members that are happy about it, or employees for that matter,
