Alaska Trading and Loan, Soldotna, AK

I am one of the many Tachicks; Grew up, not only on the Peninsula, but knowing Norman Blakely. I chose his business to ship my shotgun down to Arizona. When it arrived the barrel had ripped through the box, with obviously scratches. I paid extra for them to package and ship it to me. I am sorely disappointed in the customer service. The FFL down here took photos for proof; and was astounded at the amount Alaska Trading and Loan charged me. Saddened to leave such a review.

Definitely a place worth stopping by. It's like a museum, filled with antiques, native Alaskan arts and crafts, antique guns, and lots of great deals on newer items as well... It's at least worth a walkthrough every few months, just to see some of the neat stuff that comes in.

Soldotna Trading & Loan IS still open, just a little different hours, but the best kind of folks to do business with in my opinion, they are more than fair, very,very knowledgeable and just an all around awesome shopping experience...👍😊 …
