These institutions are predatory scumbags. Please don’t fall for their tactics. They’ll send real, cashable checks to people who don’t know any better, then charge an obscene interest rate! It’s not prize money, you didn’t hit the jackpot; it’s a loan. That part wouldn’t bother me so much, but these interest rates are insane! Peace of mind is what they advertise. What a joke.
