People bank is a good bank to deal with the staff is friendly I never been turn down for nothing I love my bank family

Been a customer for 8 years so far, they are the best folks to leave your money with.

No real complaints, other than receiving an E-mail every single time I made a purchase, until this weekend. We had set up an account that offered a nice interest rate if we fulfilled certain criteria. Both my wife and I went to efforts to do as we were asked, recognizing that those efforts were how the bank made its money. Over the weekend, we received an E-mail stating they were closing our account after three warnings, none of which we'd ever seen, because they did not like the way we fulfilled the requirements of the agreement even though we'd done everything they'd asked and they tacitly admitted it in their email. Looked through the terms of the agreement and they have the power to close our account at any time without reason, so we have no recourse. Our inquiries were met with clipped and not terribly helpful responses. Maybe this isn't something they do all the time (everyone else seems to have had a great experience), but if you see more reviews that look like this it might be worth your time to take your money to one of the dozens of other friendly banks out there.

Banked here for many years and have never had any problems. My only complaint is the new account offers??? they have sitting on every surface. It looks very cluttered and unbusinesslike. I like to be able to see the person behind the counter and not body gels, candles, or whatever.

Absolutely the best place for local banking in the area! They are very attentive and helpful. Accounts are fee free, and you can start with just a penny. Recommend this to everyone in the area!
