Worst Bank/CU ever to try and get a loan, specifically HELOC. The service rep on the phone are incompetent, the managers are even worst. The loan officers took all my information, ran my credit. We never heard from them. Had to follow up and the service rep called back and said we had too many properties so wouldn't qualify for a HELOC but all our other properties had positive cashflows. I asked to speak to the loan officer, they refuse to speak to me and provided no response. So unprofessional and a waste of a hard pull on our credit. Don't waste your time.

Stay away from this place at all costs! I was told i was getting a Soft inquiry when I applied for a Home Equity Loan- after jumping through hoops for a month, and a 2nd HARD INQUIRY they finally hired a 2nd rate company to do a market value on my home- what a joke that was!! Came back LESS than the county valued it at AND half what my licensed appraisal came back at! Couldn’t even build for the value they claimed it was! This place lies to you, unresponsive for days at a time and wastes your time!! Stay far away and read the other reviews!! Horrible bank!!

Everyone at this branch treats us as if we won the lottery, which we have not. I read the disparaging reviews and disagree. The employees may make mustakes from time to time, it is only human nature. It is how those mistakes are corrected that makes a difference. To err is human, to forgive Divine! Love this place!

Unskilled and untrained workers. I applied for a car loan which the woman had said was approved, so when I went ahead and put the non refundable down payment of 750 on the car at the dealership, she turns around and tells me she had typed the wrong information in. That no application had ever been sent in, and that now I would only be getting half the requested loan. I know money grows on trees for these people and they don't understand the middle class doesn't just have five hundred dollars sitting around let alone five thousand, but I didn't even get an apology from her from single handedly ruining half my savings on her own mistake. Just ignored me. Do not do business with them.

This branch is an absolute joke. The entire system of banking is designed to charge the customer every possible fee it can. The app, and in person banking is ridiculous. The app shows one amount, in person it shows something different and no one can actually help with legitimate issues with an account. I was refused the ability to close my checking and savings account, due to one pending transaction that had already been rejected. The employees were so incompetent that they had to call another branch in Fort Smith to figure anything out, which still amounted to nothing at all. I am beside myself with an utter lack of customer service, not to mention the fact that no one seems to understand how to do anything with their system, other than charge fees, even though an account has enough funds. Do yourself a favor and never use this credit union. This place single handedly cemented that I will never use a other credit union for my finances. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

After reading some of the reviews I wasn't sure if I wanted to go to the branch on Walnut Street. I decided to go anyway. I have never received as good as service as I got there. Andrea was at the front and she greeted us with a smile. She gave the customer service that I always look for and is far and between now days. Thank You Andrea.

Besides my growing up bank in a small town, AFCU has been the best. Always friendly and willing to help. Banked with all the big names in AR., AFCU is the only one have never had a issue with.

Try to make payments online for a car loan can't set it up Try calling to make a payment no one will answer this place is a joke will definitely be refinancing with a different bank.
