So, we applied for a loan through a credit watch company. Said to help, improve my credit. I received the initial, "you're pre approved," notice depending on credit. After filling out the remaining info, I received a, "guaranteed" approval message. I received a call several times over 2days requesting the SAME info over and over. I was then told I had an appointment to come in. Once there, we were told they can loan only 10% of our requested amount. And, that they are really a, "Title Loan," facility. They could not tell me this over the phone? I had to dress and prepare my family. Go out during this COVID experience. And learn, the offer was not at all what was, "guaranteed!" I even had approval paperwork. Lies and deceit.

Do not purchase any type of credit life plan because it does not pay off your loan if someone on the loan dies you are still responsible for the balance until it’s paid off. The loan officer did not tell us that when we purchased it.

This company is absolutely absurd. If you are even 1 day late for a payment they start blowing up your phone like the world is ending. There is no need to call 10 times a day (and no that isnt an exaggeration). I know my loan is due, and even if I didn't the one voice-mail is more than enough. There is absolutely no need to be calling me repeatedly, back to back, from multiple different numbers. I can't very well pay my loan if I get fired from work because my phone keeps going off when I'm with customers. I'm the only point of contact for my subordinates so I can't just turn my phone off or tuck it away in the back. Stop harassing people repeatedly throughout the day. It's unnecessary and rude. If you want people to pay on time, then don't lock them out of their accounts.
Edit to add: One Main responds by telling me info everyone already knows but completely avoids acknowledging their debt collection harassment practices. It is illegal for debt collectors to contact a debtee more than 7 time in a 7 day period but One Main will call 4 times a day 6 days a week. Absolutely disgusting. Do better.

Horrible company. Do not get a loan with this company. My loan was paid off by my credit union in September 2022 and my credit union never got my title. The office staff claimed an electronic release was sent to DMV. DMV confirmed this never happened. After going back and forth, we sent an email to executive office, seemed to get somewhere. The executive office arranged for me to pick up the lien release, but I noticed this document was not dated, nor was it signed by a notary??? DMV would not accept it and sited that One Main knows better then to provide this document without date nor notary signed seal. Called them back the Casa Grande office said nothing they can do. It's time for me to get a lawyer. This has been paid and One Main is still trying to hold on to the title. Save time, money, look else where this place is not it. Not only is the service horrible, the rate is insane, truly regretting I ever had this loan with them.
