I would not recommend Guild mortgage. They are not up front with all costs and money needed to close loan. They will add in numbers and more money needed when negotiations are done with seller when they should be up front and inform the buyer all monies needed to close. When questioned they are condescending and place blame on buyer for not already knowing even though you are a first time buyer. They should have better and fair lending practices. Use a trusted bank instead. I can only inform everyone about my experience. It was unprofessional. Thank you.

Guild mortgage was amazing (Randy Sueskind) went above and beyond for me and my wife from day one even After failed contracts. We closed in July and since then I've had questions about things here and there and Randy responds quick and always eager to help! I've been unsuccessfully trying to set up auto payments on their website for my mortgage for two consecutive months and when I call them I have to wait more than 30 minutes for them to answer all the calls before me. They need to set up a system where they can return the call in the same order they are received. Come on, is 2021 already.
