Don't waste your time here PLEASE. They do not help you at all if you do not make enough money. Instead of them asking what you can afford they tell you what you can afford and if you don't make enough money they will not help you. I make a little over $2000 a month and they denied me for 5000. That money would have saved me 700$a month. I paid off my truck which was $30000 in five years 450$ payments. And they would not help me. Waste of my time and I probably got a hard enquiry on my credit now. WORST PLACE EVER

Let me first explain this company was great to work with in the beginning. I have been looking to obtain a larger loan which would include paying off all of my CC minus 1 and that would include refinancing the existing loan I have with One Main. According to my approval on the computer my payment would increase by $47.00 monthly leaving me with 1 credit card not paid off and fitting nicely into my budget leaving around $500-600 a month for incidentals. After filling out my application from a 3rd party I was excited at the prospect of having all my bill accounted for and looking upon my approval a lesser percentage rate and minor payment increase. Once my Credit was run the numbers that I see and pay obviously don't match because of credit bureau drag time but also no one was even willing to listen. A No is A No! Please also know I am responsible for my situation however my situation is not dire and looking and listening to my numbers are not part of this enterprise. The computer shows what it shows and even thou the upfront computer shows a promise the behind the scenes...Not so much. Did I also mention my loan was approved for 10500.00 which is what I was asking for with collateral for the loan being a 2010 paid off Toyota FJ Crusiser but my loan was curiously run for 14K with a 30% interest and $600 dollar and change payment. I smell bait and switch???

What a huge relief and weight off of my shoulders. What a great experience and amazing service. There is nothing that was a problem. Even if you need guidance with finances, I would recommend them as #1. A million thank yous to one main.

Got approved online, went through with the Credit Check BECAUSE OF THAT. and was contacted by the store, an Agent called me, and asked to confirm the details i had already supplied ONLINE. I was then offered a considerably smaller loan..at a higher iNTEREST rate, even though i was approved online at a lower rate and a longer term. NO WAY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS.

What a misleading scam. I was "pre-approved" with "outstanding" odds of approval. I applied and submitted all sorts of documentation. Problem is they didn't even tell me that I was now applying for a "secured loan." The loan I applied and was pre-approved for was a non secured loan. They never got received my permission to move forward with an application for a secured loan. I would never have even submitted to a credit check for a secured loan. I consider this bait and switch, fraud and I'm filing banking complaints and a BBB complaint. This is not the way to conduct business.

Terrible experience and horrible customer service from Lucero and Erin (Manager) at branch #5261. Neither demonstrate OneMain's core values and seemed content to damage their organizations brand.
