I would give Zero stars for Allegro Credit if it would let me. I've had many phone calls taking hours of my time trying to resolve a payments issue where 2 payments that I made (Oct 28, 2022 and Nov 03, 2022) never posted to my account. I feel their customer service is uninformed and not helpful at all. They don't listen and have put little effort in resolving my issue. Finally they posted one of my payments (12/8/2022) but they didn't post the other so I had to make another payment today (12/15/2022) in order to avoid another late fee. Note: they did credit me $25 for the original late fee that was assessed but to date they have yet to credit me the daily interest accrued on the payments that didn't process. I realize it is not a lot of money, but seems very unethical not to credit me. All in all I will stay clear of Allegro Credit in the future. This is the worst experience I've ever had working with a bank and has taken the joy out of my new piano purchase. I've never tried to so hard to actually pay a bill in my life.

I called today to get the balance of my financed account. I called four times actually. Two of which I was hung up on for not having my account number. The third was just rude and I hung up on her. The fourth was great until I told her I couldn't make a payment today, I was getting a plan of attack to pay you off- THEN hung up on me. Rudest people I have ever had to deal with. I really don't understand how some of you sleep at night. It makes me just as bad writing this, but good golly. I will never understand the rudeness of your employees.

Took out a 8000 loan for laser and paid it off received a paid letter and spoke with a representative. Didn’t receive a withdrawal from my bank account for months and now they are calling saying it was a mistake and to pay more. SCAM COMPANY DO NOT USE

Horrible company. Probably ran by criminals. I have been trying to make a payment for a week they won’t let me pay it. They are trying to make me hold off payments so the interest will mature at its maximum rate. I will be trying to pay off the loan in its entirety by the end of this week (November 2022). They still have not let me make even one payment and the interest keeps adding to the principle based off the original loan amount. Also the amount they are adding is more than they say they are adding. I have spoke with customer service many times now. I have a consultation with a lawyer next week if this continues to go bad, I have reported them to my states attorney general, to the CFPB, to the three credit bureaus. I will be reaching out to collection agencies and the IRS too. Anything to get these criminals to take the money I owe them. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.

Everything was going great until I tried to pay it off. I called and asked for the payoff amount, got it and sent it off. I thought I was done and the account closed. 3 months later I got a statement for $91.18. I called and said that I paid the loan off. So, there was a processing fee that was not included in the payoff amount and I had been accruing late fees on the fee.:( Now 4 months later I found someone (Kathryn) that can actually assist me and I paid the processing fee and she waived the late fees...4 customer service reps later and now I'm angry and very done with Allegro Credit. Thank you Kathryn for ending my loan experience with this company.

Absolutely atrocious in all respects. I wish I could leave less than 1 star- t's been earned. We are(were) one of the merchants, and have had nothing but trouble in getting customer service resolution, on behalf of our patients. Do not do business, either as a merchant or a customer with Allegro Credit or Synchrony bank.
We called dozens of times, waited weeks for escalated customer service responses, to no avail. The company won't give standard accounting of balances, won't answer simple questions, and seemingly don't care.
I truly hope that this review prevents anyone from conducting business with this 'operation'.

Hoping this is not real. I took a loan for 5000.00 have made two payments and dentist refunded 3509.55. This leaves a post refund balance of 1396.55 but showing an amount due of 2147.50 and a payoff of 3755.26. Who does the math at this place. Have a call in and supposed to call back in two weeks. Trust me everyone is going to hear about this. Starting with my dental office. I pray they do not want to work with crooks

Wish I could give them zero stars these people are the rudest people EVER! I called because I noticed that I keep getting charged monthly for a bill that should be almost paid off and i need to know what the remaining balance is. Well Erica was rude and would not put me on the phone with a supervisor said there was a waiting list could not answer my questions told me to get on line to see what she sees but the website doesn't work.... I eventually hung up on Erica cause she don't know her job obviously 🙄. Called back talked to Macey she didn't know why I have 8 late charges even though my payments are automatically deducted monthly.... Macey says let me get the supervisor which Erica said there wasn't one there 5 minutes ago 🤔 then comes back to the phone and says there's no supervisor but when I asked for the name of the supervisor Macy says we have multiple but eventually gave up a name which is probably FAKE (Kelly). My issue still has yet to be investigated and resolved....I will be contacting a lawyer and reporting this company to the BBB. This company is a scam they need to be shut down.
