Worst loan experience of a lifetime. Joanna has no idea what she's talking about. She quoted me on the wrong loan amount, and two different interest rates, then backtracked it all. She said I was approved but then said it still had to be approved because "it's based on the internet". Also at 12:30 PM on a Tuesday her manager had already left for the day so there was nobody more experienced to assist. One Main might be a decent place, but you'd never know it if you deal with her. Honestly, the terms were palatable, but she couldn't articulate any of it well enough for me to move forward.

I have found them more than fair. Some companies kill you with their interest rates and are deceptive when explaining their plan. One Main Financial has always been open and above board. You do not leave their office without thoroughly understanding your loan. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. When you talk to them you feel valued and not judged.

This review is for the Main Financial Cerritos location. My husband spoke with Anna over the phone and reassured him that he would get a loan. He just needed to bring in the paperwork. I got out of work early and helped my husband get his paperwork together thinking that it was a done deal and we were for sure getting the loan. We arrived, the people were cordial. And then after waiting for a bit we got put into a room we’re we waited even longer. Anna walked in and said our loan amount dropped drastically. Then walked in again and said my husband, a veteran was not approved. We stayed professional but at that point, left disappointed and livid because it was a total waste of time. If you say your going to do something and that we were approved. Make sure that’s the final result before having us come in there. Looked at more reviews on this company and it’s happening to other clients as well. From now on Main Financial, stop calling, stop emailing, stop sending us letters of approval when that’s not the real result. It’s false to do that and it really gets peoples hopes up. For a veteran experiencing severe ptsd, you’ve traumatized us and we no longer want your business or to work with you all in the future. For anyone who wants to work with them and has no other place to get a loan, please do your due diligence as this same result could happen to you.
