Travis Credit Union, Clayton, CA

Extremely irritating bank to deal with. My card is constantly getting blocked and I can never get ahold of anyone that knows what they’re doing. I get gas, food, pay bills and that’s pretty much all my money ever goes to so why does it keep getting blocked constantly?!

The following review was originally left on Yelp, and I wanted to leave it here to. Thanks Michael for taking the time to say hello today. I have been a customer since 1982 (my first bank account), I always had good service. I read some of the other reviews, and I haven't had the same problems. I do all my banking online, no fees, I have to adjust my billpay dates sometimes, as I notice on a bill or two it was too close to the due date (when the bill is paid with a echeck), not big deal. Over the years I may have inadvertently incurred a late fee, when I called in, TCU reversed the fee. I now have multiple home loans with TCU, always had the best rate, my last refi I was hoping to get the 4% rate with cash out, no points, and I got a even better deal 3.525% and NO FEES, they even paid for the appraisal! I worked with Blanca Lomeli and Candie Ermitano and couldn't complain about the service they provided. My local branch in Clayton has always been a pleasure to deal with the managers to the tellers. It actually feels like a small hometown bank (good thing)!

Just left the bank and had the rudest teller. Every month I come in to deposit a mortgage pmt to one of their customers. I had misplaced the acct number of my landlord so I brought in a receipt from last month. I asked him nicely if he could write the acct number for me. The other teller wrote down the acct number on a small Card and even laminated it for me!! This gentleman had the rudest demeanor and was unwilling to do it. He was so ugly and rude !! He ruined my day!! Definitely!!

The ATM machine at this location never fails to reject several of my bills every time I try to deposit cash. And I'm not talking about torn, wrinkled bills, these are perfectly fine pieces of paper. I get frustrated every time I try to use it. My only other choice is to drive all the way over to Diamond Blvd. Soooooo Frustrated!

Sad to say I have to close my account with this credit union. Recommended by my friend and co worker that i should put my money with Travis. The staff here are very friendly and professional like any other financial institutions. Highly recommend! You will be missed.

First joined in 1981 when I was stationed at Travis AFB. I highly recommend Travis Credit Union over any bank.
