straightforward gentlemen here are fair and friendly. I got a good deal on a ring, and even purchased a great TV pretty cheap and I had a return guarantee for any reason! That made it a win/win for me. They are next to the AutoZone on Palm Drive. Check em out, CLOSED MONDAYS! .

DHS is the best pawn/loan shop in the Palm Springs area. Most of the other pawn shops in the Palm Desert area only deal in jewelry. Victor gave me the loan that I needed on my electronics while I was waiting for my deposit to hit. DHS lent me a decent amount of money on my electronics and when my deposit hit later that day he only charged me $10 per ticket instead of the entire amount of interest on my pledge and returned my items in good condition with no problem.

Our family has been with this pawn on and off for 20 yrs,never once have I ever had a problem with these guys till now. New owners have done good but be warned of SHADY practices in regards to your ticket. I have always retrieved my possessions and renew my loan in a timely manner. They are supposed to by law mail a reminder that your loan is due. I have been going by this for years ok late notice,good renew or retrieve. This new system for some reason hasn't been sending them out and led to me losing one of my items. I pointed this out to them only to be called a liar. Why not look into it? See the records in computer. I have no reason to make up such a claim. I am bothered because it was a sentimental item that was my sons. I had it in there renewing it for a year as we didn't use it and needed the loan. My next item is due and still again no notice. So please be careful with these guys and watch your dates accordingly.

I needed to pawn something and I looked online and it says they close at 6 o'clock in the evening so I got there at 5:45 and they were closed and I knocked on the door and they said were closed! I said it is not 6:00 yet and he said "hours may vary"! They had 2 guys behind the counter and they could have helped me if they cared about customers . So don't go by the hours they post online because that's a waste of time. Kinda messed up !!

Been coming here for 8 months but this time they wowed me with prices on chains and pendant they really good priced I saw a gentleman buy a San Judas pendant for really cheap. Not to mention the jeweler is really knowledgeable in all aspects of gold.
