Called before I went in, every time on three separate occasions, explained my situation and asked if they would be able to cash a check for me.. Every time I explained the whole situation I had going going before I drive all the way up there. Every time they assured me they were going to be able to cash the check for me… Every single time I got there, they would try to find some reason “they couldn’t cash it” 3 times, what a waste of time and gas.. Don’t say you can cash a check and then try to find some reason not to when the person gets there. Horrible

I was impressed with the service I received. It had been quite a while since I had used a check cashing place and I was pleasantly surprised with the difference in my experience (for the better) from the last time. I recommend Ace in Desert Hot Springs. I was tempted to give 4 stars because of the seemingly high percentage charged but it's an industry standard of sorts and the level of attention they gave me I couldn't deduct the star.
