I've used Caliber two times and both times were great. Specifically, John Gabby who is the loan officer is phenomenal! There's not enough I can say about him. I will be the first to admit that I am extremely anal and can be difficult to deal with. I am type A and most people cannot keep up with my demands for perfection. However, John certainly can. He responds almost immediately to any text, email or call - and there are many! He follows the loan and puts out any fires before I even find out about it. Talk about a stress relief. Buying a home can be extremely stressful and thanks to John, both times were smooth. In fact, I was so disappointed that I couldn't use Caliber with my current house, as the builder used Wells Fargo. My experience with Wells Fargo was not great and only solidified my pleasure with Caliber and John. Do yourself a favor and give John a call. You'll be glad you did! Highly recommend.

I need to say that in the last 20 years we have purchased and sold 2 homes, been through many refinances and experienced the devastation of a short sale. Ever since we purchased our 3rd home in 2014 we were (Still ARE) inundated with offers to refinance our home. Caliber Home Loans is the company that carried our mortgage. In 2017 we decided we were ready to do some debt consolidation and renovate our bathrooms. I approached several different brokers and refinance companies. Some responded promptly but were inconsistent in there follow up and communication, others offered high interest rates and suggested I buy down the loan or offered short term mortgages to make things seem like a bargain. I approached Caliber Home Loans and they referred me to John Gabby in Dixon, CA. He immediately sent me the forms I needed to fill out. Kept in touch by email and text keeping me apprised of the status. I did not feel as if I was one of many projects. I felt he valued us, our issues and our business. When he asked for documents he explained why they were needed. He kept the pace/momentum of the process steady. In the past when a broker or refinancier finished the process and I had a question I would be referred to someone else. John didn't do that. He said he would look into it and get me an answer. My experience with Almond Tree Mortgage was great! I tried with other companies and was discouraged. I also was incredibly busy and didn't have time to waste, just to be told that I wasn't eligible. I was told about the great service at Almond Tree and that I could apply on line. So one evening, I applied on line. I received a call the very next morning from John Gabby. I was told that I qualified! I didn't have a lot of money for a down payment, and I was told about programs that could help. My realtor, Linda Barrett had a great working relationship with Almond Tree and together they helped us buy our first home. I highly recommend them!
