ACE Cash Express, El Centro, CA

Araceli from Ace El Centro did an amazing job. She really fulfilled our needs and guided us the best way. Her customer service is outstanding. I was very pleased.

Some people never grew up past high school. This is the case with my experience the manager of ACE Cash Express. The other staff is lovely which is a wonder considering their manager. I went in to cash a check, spoke with the teller who informed me that due to the amount, she’d have to wait for her manager. Said manager was outside in her Kia and I waited until she came in. From the get go, the manager was very argumentative and showed no interest in assisting. The previous night, the teller was ready to help me cash my check, but I decided not to until today. She said I was too late arriving because she needed to verify the check 3 hours before close. I explained that the information precious provided didn’t match with what was being informed. I haven’t been yelled at by a manager in quite some time, insulted my in a personal manner, called her district manager on the phone shouting “Do you hear him?! This is why I’m not going to help him.” when I was trying to ask her some questions and clarify matters. Once she got off the phone she said that she refused to help me and I could go ahead and complain because, and I quote, “The District Manager is my friend and knows how I am.” I don’t know what this meant exactly but the teller and I kept exchanging these looks because neither of us seemed to comprehend what was going on. I’m still confused by the lack of professionalism and the power complex by the manager (I think whose name is Araseli) I didn’t pick up the card she threw at me. What a way to dismiss customers and exemplify horrible customer service.
