Coast Central Credit Union Fortuna, Fortuna, CA

In general, I like this credit union. However, lately, it seems as though they have sold my address to some life insurance agency, out of Madison, WI. I had assumed that my personal information would be kept safe by my bank. Not so! I feel "sold out" and am considering closing my account.

Customer service reps can be extremely rude and to a disabled nurse who has had account with them for 20 yrs. I sometimes have memory problems due to a medical condition. They are very impatient and I have even been yelled at! I need to take my business somewhere else. Their ACH system is in the dark ages.

Can you give negative stars? This credit union was forced on me after their predecessor failed in Crescent City California. That should have been a clue. I have had nothing but trouble with this group. They are quick to take your money but have multiple 'rules' about having access to YOUR money. And they charge you big time for the privilege. And their customer support people are rude to the point of wanting to reach through the phone and choke them. I travel most of the time so I am rarely at home. But the next time I am at home, I'm dumping these chumps.

Great bank. Fees are reasonable, or you can avoid them completely with ease. Tellers are always friendly. This is definitely the best branch I routinely visit.

Initial service was very good. However, after being told that I needed to go to another department to complete my transaction, I sat for 20 mins being ignored in favor of customers who came in well after me. Usually not an issue at this branch but this time it kinda pissed me off.

I really like CCCU in Fortuna! Everyone is so nice and helpful! I have lost my debit card several times and they quickly and with a smile cancel the one I lost and issue me a new one! It’s a pleasure to do business with them. Years ago we tried to get a lone through three local banks and were denied, but had no problem with CCCU in Fortuna!!😁

Unethical business practices I. I don't know if he works at your bank Erin Martin Senior Loan Officer scammed me out $19,500.00 I was told I qualified for $10,000 I told to purchase Target cards & eBay card to qualified for the load he scammed me out of $9,500 as currently time I have no food, money and no place to stay. Erin Martin scammed my friend out $1,600 and still no loan

I dont agree that you should have to have a $50 minimum in your account. Some people need the $50 at the end of the month
