STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! Brenda who opened my account for me flat out LIED to me!! When I asked her directly if I could make a principle only payment over the phone using my debit card she said yes no problem! Once I tried to go that, Denise told me debit card principle only payments over the phone are not allowed. Very dishonest and rude people. They try to make it very difficult to make extra payments so you don’t pay off your loan. Also they constantly call you acting nice and friendly offering extra funds, and once you accept their entire attitude changes. They are RUDE and refuse to help. I paid ahead more than double my monthly payment and I called to make an ADDITIONAL extra payment and they told me there was a minimum payment due. I had to teach the employee how the payment system works until she finally understood that I was actually way ahead in payments. I don’t even work here and I’m more knowledgeable about their own system. They need better training. Will not be doing business with them again

I've worked with the La Puente, CA branch for years now. They have always been helpful and done whatever they were allowed to in order to finance my loans when I needed one. I've moved out to Ontario and I still go through this office when I need help.

Just got our loan approved and let me say its was much needed cash all i can say is that they are very friendly and helpful and did all that they can do to try to get your loan approved. Highly recommend this place.our customer account specialist was Monique Duenas she was amazing. So was the receptionist didn't get her name.

So far, my experience with OneMain has been positive. Yolanda had been courteous and extremely helpful to me. She is a professional who knows what she is doing. I would definitely recommend OneMain Financial to anyone in need of quick financial help.

Poor customer service! No follow throughs, ignored calls and lack of professionalism for a Financial Institution. As a former customer, Instead of writing a review on my positive experience, I would not recommend this business to anybody! Aside from their high interest rates, high monthly payments, and processing fee's, I would seek out other options and stay away from One Main Financial. I applied for a personal loan, was approved, got my interest payments, and monthly amount, even though payments were high, I planned to pay it off sooner, as I was trying to do some home repairs. So the final step was just to go in to sign my papers or to do it through docu-sign (electronically), and after calling and leaving messages, I never got a call back from their Manager Patricia of their associate. For a former customer that had just paid off a $10,000.00 loan in less than a year, and in good standing; They completely ignored my calls, and always promised to call me back. With so many other companies out there, and on-line, go with one that is not going to lie to you, or not respond to your requests. Poor customer service for a community business, I highly recommend you choose a different company.
