To each his own. I’ve read so many negative reviews at this branch but all I have is praise for them especially Katie and Ana the manager. I suppose when a client gets declined, the first defense mechanism is to blame the employees. This is so unfair to them! They were pleasant, professional, and quick with the signing process. I don’t mean to upset those clients before me who got declined but they’re just following rules and guidelines. In my case, I got approved for $3000. This was a shock considering the credit that I have. But my combined income is pretty high so this could be why I got approved at least for $3000. Anyways, I will continue to do business with them in the future after I payoff my loan earlier than the 48-month term they gave me. I will request for a higher amount as Katie suggested. Don’t miss a payment!!! Also, this is not a loan shark contrary to what some are saying here. 48-month term for $135 a month including the insurance protection and beneficiary allocation for $2500 Well for me it’s affordable. Again to each his own. OneMain Financial is more than FAIR. So to those new applicants being pre-approved or applying from scratch, don’t hesitate to do business with them. Everyone's opinion on the reviews is pretty on point , and shame on these people for imediately running pèoples credit reports and dinging credit scores bf the application is even completed. Then dont return calls or ever answer the office phone. This isnta gamethisis smeonescredit !

Waste of time. If your approved online it means nothing until you go through the branch the site selected this branch. Have more than enough monthly income to pay $160 payments a month states I don’t have enough income. When I have $1,000 additional income a month. Asked if I lowered the amount would that be efficient. I was told no, no matter what I would need a co-signer waste of time! So don’t excited if you get approved was hoping to get a car repair and they made it as difficult as possible. *Update 7/04 I still stand by this review. I applied with them to get my car fixed which they did not approve as I stated above. Because of that I kept getting minimal work done to keep it running. So the mechanic tells me I need to get this issue fixed or this patch work is going to be a lost. I decided to re-apply this year at another branch. I got approved for the loan that was higher than what I asked for at this location, with less reported income because I chose not to add my side job as part of my monthly income. Try the Van Nuys branch instead.

I applied for a loan almost 2 years ago did not have a perfect credit and it was approved after One Main notified me that I had negative item on my credit history that it shouldn't be in the report by law. I'm very happy this bank provide me this information because I fix it and after several months I star getting credit offers from the big banks. Good service at the branch excellent customer service. Highly recommend it!!!!

The interest is high. They are basically loan sharks. I paid this loan back and they still debited my account. I went to the local branch and waited for two days for a check. They wanted me to wait a month to receive a refund. So they charge crazy interest and want to hold my money hostage without interest for paying them back early. I had to file a dispute with my bank to get my money back. Terrible company and clueless staff.
