California Check Cashing Stores, Modesto, CA

I have sent from this before but changing employees without training them to respect the customer and understand how to communicate is a big problem. I couldn’t get the name of the employee but he is the young black guy working today ( date of review) that company needs to train or maybe hire a better employee who treats customers with respect and understand that the company needs us more than we need you. A one star is little more than I should give.

I applied for a paydayloan and got approved for $400 and they ended up giving me $366 and told me that pay back is $425 in two weeks. I went to pay back this $425 and they changed it to $445. After I paid this I told them to close my account that I don't want to get a loan again from them. I was told that there's another $31 to be paid as annual fees. I asked for their corporate office number and called them and they were unable to explain why I have to pay extra after I have paid this loan in "Full". Be careful with businesses like this. I told them that I will fight it. This morning they responded to my review and gave me a customer service number to call. I called and I spoke to a representative named Tiffany. She asked for my name and social security for last four numbers. I gave them to her over the phone and she hung up immediately.

This place is also liquor store and they over charge swishers for $1.19 that is marked for $0.99. When asked for receipt they refuse to provide.

I don’t recommend to go this place, Manager is so rude, hold my check whole day, spend $40 for get my cash, first they said don’t have enough cash, comeback after one hour, I came back after one hour they said come back 7 pm still don’t have cash, I request them give me a some discount, I don’t know who’s manager there, she knows already all check cashing place is closed,

Cake in to the store at 7:35 to get a payroll advance and get to the bank by 8:00 to take care of an oversight ( my bad! Lol! Anyway, it's 7:58 and I've been standing here for 24 minutes while one of the two people working here us calling other sites for Dailey totals and complaining about Crappy phone reception. While three people are waiting in line.

I was helped by Gina at the modesto location. Mann did she make me feel comfortable. Her customer service, knowledge and demonstrated expertise was exceptional! I'm my opinion Gina is a wonderful asset to the company. I'd hire her in a heartbeat! ☆☆☆☆☆ 5 star service without a doubt. I walked in as a customer not knowing how the service worked and walked out recommending the business to others. If you go there, definitly ask for Gina!! God bless you, Gina! I came in this morning to do a Western union and Rubi was very helpful with my transaction and offered me a Pay day Loan. With Great service like hers I will be coming in to get one soon. All the Ladies greeted me when I enter the building which made my visit very pleasant and friendly.

I've been coming here to Cash my check for a bit over a year now and it's always smooth and fast. Save for when there's a line, and all the workers have been wonderful. Miss Rubi is always on point, all the gals are.
