This place is busy, since they closed the others, and they are slow! If you need to do business here, plan on staying here for an hour at the minimum. There are usually three people working at all times.

They made me wait 40 minutes to cash and service from the lady with the highlights was absolutely ridiculous and terrible.

I will never go back to money mart never again I don't care if I'm poor broke down on the street I will never step foot in that building again it took them almost 3 days to cash a settlement check Ashley settlement check and there was no empathy there was no nothing they said no problem haven't 5 minutes and 3 days later I get my check cashed

Terrible !!! I tried to obtain two money orders, but was informed their system could not accept either of the two Visa cards. Not because they don’t accept the method of payment, but due to their card scanners either not working/functioning properly (& giving erroneous errors that were incorrect!) Don’t waste your time!!! Terrible experience, i will never return for any business.

Normally I don't leave bad reviews on places because I hardly run into issues. Last night I ran into an issue with a lady that works at the Ace check cashing place on El Camino. Sadly I did not get her name but I came in and did not realize the place had changed. I was exhausted from work the night and got off work yesterday morning. I came in needing assistance to cash my written check from my job. The lady that was behind the window was very rude. She acted like she couldn't hear me and kept saying huh and what. Then she asked if I had cashed there before and I said yes but not with the company I'm with. I gave her my phone number when she asked for it and she could not find me in the system. Then she gave me a paper and side write your social rudely rolling her eyes and looked away. I wrote down my social and gave her the paper back. She said that I had been there before when money mart was there but their now ace. She said she has to verify my check and the company I'm with is probably closed. I told her that I have the personal number she could call that deals with payroll so she can verify my check. The lady behind the window refused to do it and said come back tomorrow. After I said thank you and I was polite to her, she did not say your welcome or anything. Very rude and unprofessional. Because of the refusal of service, I was unable to get gas for my car and unable to provide for my family.

I have been going here for about six mo. A very nice lady helped me the first time. Afterwards, an older very kind gentleman helped me. Today, 10/23 there was a new lady. I saw the look on her face when the Customer in front of me left and I just assumed it was the Customer UNTIL I had to do Business with her. If I hadn’t needed the money, I would have said some very disrespectful things to her (use your imagination here). I am hearing impaired. She was mean, rude, disrespectful and I am NOT ever going back!!!

I like Monica Cardenas a lot! She is professional, quick, efficient and her smile is so contagious. Every time I come in, her smile lights up my day. She is so awesome!
