Excellent Bank with a friendly staff. I needed a business trust account and they were able to provide me everything that I needed. The banking experience they give is unlike anywhere else I’ve been and the homemade cookies are excellent!

I refinanced my home here in Santa Barbara with the help of Karin Napel at First Republic Bank. I'm still working from home due to the coronavirus, so unfortunately I never had the chance to meet her. Nonetheless, Karin was able to provide me with a very competitive loan and was exceptionally helpful and patient in guiding me through the somewhat tedious process of securing it. Every time that I emailed her with a question (and there were many...), she would answer almost immediately. I found Karin through a friend who had recently closed on a jumbo loan from First Republic. She recommended Karin to me, and I'm so glad that she did!

I love this bank, too. It's a bank where everyone (literally) knows your name! I don't know how they do it, but they do. They great you by name as you walk in the door, and I only do one "in person" visit there every two months. And they serve home-baked cookies all day long. -- Lots of good service "extras" with these people.
