The cashiers here help you when nobody else will. I have been cashing my checks there for over 10 years. I get money orders and pay my PG&E there also. The staff never gets testy unless you do. They are good people, no matter what anyone says. If you want a hard time, that's not the place to go. They are good people to me.

Never had trouble.sometimes us as clients could have a bad mood before we walk in and get testy with others are working.we get pushy when we are in a hurry too.cashiers have to deal with alot everyday,try to understand.thank you, cashiers for being there.

I love this place all of the staff are professional and friendly. If it is possible to cash a check they will do it for you they know how to do business I recommend this business to anyone who needs to cash a check

Wow the person on the phone was arguing with me within 10 seconds of my phone call when I simply wanted to know how much they charged for check cashing. Very hostile, very unfriendly, and sounded like she wanted to hustle me based off of how much I had on my check. She finally told me it was 3.5% to cash a check and hung up on me because I wouldn’t drive down there so she could give me a price in the spot.

This place has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The ladies that work there are very unpleasant and tend to come across as very short on patience. I went in there to exchange $20 bills for a hundred and they looked at me like I was there to scam them. I thought that was part of the point of why they existed. I'd strongly suggest going just about anywhere besides this location to tend to your business.

Some important things to consider: This company has legitimate procedures to ensure you get your money the right way. Sometimes they need to hold your check. That is a normal part of cashing a check somewhere that isn’t your bank. . If they ask you questions about it, it’s to further try to help you. One star reviews here seem to be from people wanting special treatment for some reason.

I have been doing business with this company since 1995 and have rarely used banks since. They set me up with a prepaid Visa Debit card and my SS income is directly deposited. I have had occasion to cash a couple larger checks and they worked with me on that larger level, as well. I'm very pleased and very grateful to the owner for staying in business in such a tough area of Santa Cruz.
