CoastHills Credit Union, Santa Maria, CA

All of the people here are really friendly and helpful. As a business customer I was given a personal banker, Elvia, who has been exceptional. She has pre filled out paperwork for me for lines of credit and new accounts - I have never had a bank offer to do this for me. Awesome customer service from their team. Personal banking has been great too and we have not found better auto loan rates than CH.

Setting up accounts for an old family Trust is a time-consuming headache, but the member services officer (Efren A.) was super helpful. Even weeks later, when we had trouble establishing our online sign in/password, he took the time to help. He emailed us a step-by-step series of screenshots with instructions so we could get it done without any problem. Way to go beyond the call of duty, young man! This is the kind of service that makes Santa Maria proud.

Very disappointed as a long time customer. I spent 2weeks and at least 3 hours on the phone between wait times and trying to speak to a manager as I had to explain my specific situation for every CSR. I finally spoke to someone on 9/6 since my initial call on 8/9. Although frustrated I maintained my calm. The manager “Rochelle” was very condescending. Describing the experience as utter disappointment is actually minimizing it. I will have to start looking on taking my business elsewhere.

Worst Credit Union I've ever used. This place has not adapted to current business models, they block purchases when i try to buy something over $1000.00. Customer service does not exist here, but arrogant employees do. Save yourself several headaches. Dont give them your money:

I've been a member of Coasthills for over thirty years. And today I have had the worst experience ever. I have spent two hours going round and round. I talked to four people, but never actually getting to a loan officer. Very frustrating and very disappointing for thus old time customer

The Santa Maria Branch on Betteravia is a beautiful facility and the customer service representatives are always knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Never a problem going into CoastHills for my financial situations! Larry Dolan

I came in to the branch and was greeted with friendly smiles I felt very welcome. Nancy was able to help me answer all my questions she very professional and excellent service was provided. The entire experience from start to finish in terms of opening a bank account with them was flawless. Change can be overwhelming but she did an amazing job. Definitely will be recommending my friends and family to this branch!

I want to say overall that your bank makes you feel as though you are the only person being dealt with while in the bank. Very personable and friendly Nancy was able to help me on transferring funds from my current IRA plan at another institution. She recommended me speak with their wealth management team to explore all my options so I can make an informed decision. I truly appreciate the fact that she asked questions to better understand my financial goals.
