Tucoemas Federal Credit Union, Tulare, CA

Before the move to Bardsley & Mooney Blvd, I would have rated 5 stars. I cannot believe TFCU moved their branch from a central location on Prosperity clear out on east edge of town. For me & others I'm sure, this has created a huge inconvenience as I live on west side of Tulare.. New location is miles out of my way. Their hours seem to fluctuate randomly so you never know if they will be open after you drive all the way to it. Getting a human to answer the phone & tell you if they are open is next to impossible. All these problems came up AFTER the ill-advised move clear across town. I used to look forward to going into Tucoemas & being greeted by tellers who knew me. Not any more. The faces seems to change weekly along with an impersonal attitude. .I was told there might be another branch going in if the powers that be can agree. But it will most likely be on the NE side of Tulare where most of the newer houses are being built. Members who live on the west side of the railroad tracks are getting the short end of the stick. You can make withdrawals or deposits with a couple of other linked credit unions but nothing more.. Any other transaction, you have to trek all the way over to new location & hope they're open., End of rant.

New constuction at our local joint savings & opened savings of my own.. all locations prompt friendly and very professional..former Mannager -Director of cv,bussinesses so know banks for 50 + yrs..

I was told by Navy Federal Credit Union (my credit union) I can purchase a cashiers check through them at Tucoemas Federal Credit Union. I only went to Tucoemas because it was close to my area. Unfortunately Tucoemas didn’t want NOTHING to do with Navy Federal and was pretty much “booted” out of their facilities! Then the female teller had the ordacity to ask me if I wanted to open an account to Tucoemas, I stated “Hell No!!!!” These credit unions need to get their paths correct!!!!

Previous location was 4 out of 5 but new location is extremely small an slow.
