OneMain Financial, Ventura, CA

I originally applied for my loan in Oxnard because there was no office in Ventura at the time. Since they have opened in Ventura The guys that work at the new location have really made an effort to reach out to their customers & seem to be caring and,professional. I was extremly surprised today to get a call from one of the employees at the Ventura One Main office. I'm always rather Leary when I get calls of this type , But the gentleman's name was Ricki & he was calling ( I really do believe he was legit) to check to see how I was getting along during this pandemic. I am having some financial problems at the moment & Ricki shared with me a possible partial solution. This involved some paperwork and a signature. Besides the stay in the home order, transportation is a problem right now. Again Rick was able to accommodate me and sent the paperwork thru email and helped me by staying on the phone with me to help me thru the signature process. Now I will be able to breath a little for a couple mths until things hopefully get better! The only reason I'm NOT giving 5 stars has more to do with the Oxnard office & the initial agreement. I didn't understand the impact of such a high INTREST rate which I better understand after having been able to run things past Mr. Ricki. They also didnt help me w/ opening my on line account( I'm older & not super tech savy but am trying) this has caused me to miss out on a year of points and was told they can't be made good from the beginning of making payments. It's bad enough to look at my statement & see so little of the,payment going to the principal and a,huge chunk going to their company! God forbid that they help me with my points!! Overall though, I had a good experience with their very caring & helpful staff members in Ventura! I definetly recommend them especially if you have been turned down elsewhere tell them Kim Marie sent you,maybe they will give me a point... lol

Don't waste your time the employed are incompetent

I went to the location to apply I got approved one day I need it some documents the next day they told me that I gave a wrong SSN and that wasn't me. And the have a.differenr how is that going to be true and they made 3 hard pulls on my credit report. Thank God I not gonna be dealing with this company.
