I received a loan from one main a few years ago. I have made every payment on time. Someone reached out to me to combine two loans I have with them telling me it will be better overall for me. After some back and forth I was told I was approved and that I needed to go into a branch and that someone will be reaching out to me. It took a few days but someone did finally reach out to me but her choice of words were terrible. She had said she had been trying to get a hold of me which bothers me because she called me one time. I take offense to someone acting like they have been trying to reach me multiple times. I didn't pick up the phone because I was driving. What she told me was the loan wasn't approved to combine the loan but I was approved for more money.......wait, let me get this straight here. You reach out to me acting like you care about my best interest by helping me combine my loan. Then come back to me and say I can't combine the loan but I can pull out more money. Best interest definitely not, they only care about money and customer service is absolutely terrible. I touched base with someone that was supposed to be a manager and she handled the situation absolutely terrible. I pay them every month on time.....am I the customer here? She didn't try to help me at all, she let it get personal and was more concerned about her friend sitting next to her. Do not go with this lender they will rip you off and they can care less and that's facts.

I applied for a small loan one morning, didn't find out if I was approved or not until later the following morning. It was supposed to be a quick process. After they pulled my credit, they realized that GI Bill housing allowance doesn't count as guaranteed income. Why they couldn't tell me that before pulling my credit upsets me a little, otherwise I wouldn't have applied and hurt my credit. What job is guaranteed anyway? Sure I might get a low GPA and have to pay it back, but someone on a job can make a simple mistake and get fired. It makes no sense to me and I wasted so much time. I guess this will help anyone else in my position. The staff were pretty friendly overall despite the flawed policies.

I was preapproved via a Lending Tree request for several loan options with this place. Selected one and did a lengthy phone screening and was appved by One Main. I was told to drop by their offices the next day to complete the process and this is where the entire experience went awry. I get to their office and one employee is sitting over a barf bucket - great first impression. Then the person assigned to finish the paperwork tells me the company started this new program where they pre approve you via phone only to have you show up and actually you aren’t approved because they made a mistake in the phone screen. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. So many other legit options. I also complained to lending tree as this place is a scam. I withdrew my application and this company sends me a form letter telling me they rejected me. Stay away. STAY. VERY. FAR. AWAY. Class Action suit in the making and I will be leading it.

Easy process and approval. I was able to consolidate my credit cards and other debts into a single monthly payment. Carson advised that this was a better solution over a program that would lower and ruin my credit score. Very pleased Thank you!!!

Very easy to do. Professional and courteous service. I was done within an hour and had my money within 2 hrs. This money helped me to keep my home. Thank You One Main
