Check Into Cash, Watsonville, CA

After waiting about 15 minutes for them to attend one person, while other staff members wandered around in the back just "comadriando". I was helped by Maria. She asked if I had cashed a check there before. I answered yes, a few months back though. She looked me up and said she couldn't find me, that I needed to register and do this and have three references amongst other things. Stupid I know. Just to cash a check. She looked at the check and said ok then, it's ok. She then proceeded to call the place where I received the check without my consent or authorization. They told her yes it's legit. She then came back with a mean mugg on her face and said "Nooooo! Go cash it at Bank of America!" You should of told me that from the start!!! Before you embarrassed me by calling the person who handed me the check and making me feel like I was trying to cash in a felonious check. Should of told me to go to Bank of America in the beginning. Never going there again. I was merely trying to cash in a check. They made me feel like I was some type of criminal trying to scam them.

I got great service with a friendly smile from Angelica at this place. Super convenient as it is right next to my bank. Thanks again!

Back at their old location in downtown Watsonville next to Domino's on Main St

I was met with being told they need to look up how much it cost me to cash the check, after 3+ minutes I informed them I already knew it was about 3% of my check would be withheld. Then I was told to fill out a piece of paper that wanted 3 personal references, my gross income, the next time I was to get paid, along with valid information they needed. I am very uncomfortable by this huge evasion of my privacy. I happen to have a huge issue with cashing this check because they are from the state and over 500. My rent was due and I had to cash it today, I'm sick and could not manage going any farther. This was a terrible experience... but at least I got my check cashed

I was having trouble cashing my check so I decided to go unto the Check into Cash Angelica was so helpful and so sweet she completely went out of the way to help me so I was Able to cash it. Best experience I had in her store thank You so much Angelica!

I had the most wonderful experience with Susana at Check into Cash in Watsonville. Polite, friendly, informative and professional. It takes a few minutes to process.
