I would do 0 stars if I could! Have had an auto loan with them for over 2 years, up until 2 months ago 0 issues, never missed a payment, NEVER late. We had called in to make a payment with a female, she took payment info said it would go through same day and all was set. We later came to find out she did NOT make the payment and marked us 30 days late. I didn't find out until weeks later when I get a letter in the mail, 0 calls about it as well. Multiple conversations with them and they refuse to help, and is very disrespectful to customers. They say all calls are recorded and there is only three people in collections, but surprisingly lost our call when we made the payment. THEN they marked us 2 months late (payment due July 29th and they marked it the day after LATE!!!) I do have confirmation receipts showing paid as well! They are doing this out of spite! I highly recommend you DO NOT BANK WITH THEM AND DO NOT LET THEM HOLD ANY LOANS. I have contacted many other companies at a higher level to get involved on this.

I have been to many different banks and credit unions but this was the only place I have ever gotten a loan from and Iwas very nervous because I had no idea how to maintain my payments. Noreen was my banker there that helped me for months until It’s no longer necessary. I had been going through a lot of personal issues and was late on a few payments, but they were kind and helpful every time. They absolutely could have been rude and impatient with me - they had every right. But the kindness Noreen showed me while representing this bank made a massive difference in my life. This impacted me far beyond what I would ever expect from a bank. I Want to share this with you the reader because hopefully you could have a similar experience with a massive loan that makes you nervous. Or maybe you fall behind and have chaos and drama in your life - but you get to experience that little bit of sunshine I am trying to describe. I am forever grateful for my experience with this bank. As my loan is coming to a close I couldn’t help but tear up with gratitude as I expressed these things with her. With my freaking banker. I mean… wow. That’s all I can say. Thank you.

Want to give zero, Horrible place and Customer Service. Diana doesn’t know how to do anything, can’t answer anything and gives attitude. Dakota the Supervisor acts childish and her only way to fix things is to kick customers out, Zero professionalism here. If the supervisor acts like that, that should be enough for people to stay away. Glad I’ll be doing my loan somewhere else!

I do not have an issue with this branch in particular, but I have an issue with the answering service this credit union uses. I have had to call into the credit union twice, both times I have been put through an answering system that takes 30-45 minutes on hold to actually get through to a human being. The first time, I held because I was setting up my account and had no other option. This last time I was having to reset my password to make a payment through the app and sat on hold for 31 minutes and called it, I hung up. I am usually understanding, but this is ridiculous , I will be refinancing my auto loan elsewhere.

I'm so pleased for this new location closer to home, Sooper Credit Union is the best , the people are professional and super friendly, always going the extra step to help me with all my banking. After 10+ years of being a Soopers Member, I recently experienced my first auto/personal loan with them. Amanda Calderone made the process easy and stress free. I never had to go down to the branch which was amazing with a crazy work schedule. Communications were excellent and the overall experience was pleasant.
