Alpine Bank, Battlement Mesa, CO

Very poor customer service. Did not help at all with over drawn account error and froze my account. This branch and corporate office are nothing but a headache.

My wife and I were recently in an local business in the area and overheard a teller from the Battlement Mesa branch talking to a person in that business about a specific Alpine Bank Customer, by name, and how this particular customer consistently overdrew their account. Needless to say, we are closing our account at Alpine Bank because of this very reason. Although we are not one to overdraw our account, we don't appreciate the lack of discretion and honor Alpine Bank apparently embraces.

The people that work at the Battlement Mesa bank are so friendly & helpful. The best bank we have ever used. (and we are 75 yrs old)

Switching banks asap. I have power of attorney over my husband who is not here at the moment. Trying to get his checks cashed so we can do things like pay bills and buy food. Their attorneys said they can't accept my POA because we are legally separated? Nope. I provided a legally binding marriage certificate. We are not separated legally. Nowhere did I provide a legal document saying we are legally separated. I was also never contacted by one of their attorneys to discuss the POA.

Been with them for 8 years. Two businesses. One land loan. Hey are always awesome with customer service. They’ve always done more than I’d expect a bank to do. Can’t say enough good about them all!!! I use them because of their policies towards customer service and their follow through on those principles. Live em and highly recommend them!!! Cheers, Dr H
