Recently decided to try my hand renovating a property for resale. We had some cash saved but were short and had troubles getting our bank to loan us money. We found Abbey Mortgage online and I am glad we did. We were able to go in with our paperwork, we discussed our plan and what our rehab budget was, valuations and all of that. A couple weeks later, we closed on the property and received our first of 6 rehab fund pulls. I really expected a private lender to cost a lot more, but honestly the loan was pretty affordable. If you are looking for a mortgage for a fix-and-flip or to buy a rental or other property, Robert at Abbey Mortgage is awesome! He really helped me understand somethings that were absolutely on point. Great lender and highly recommended.

Samantha and Robert have been harassing us for weeks. We moved into an old building, with — unbeknownst to us — no fire detector in the basement, leaking pipes, a leaking water heater and a rapidly molding unfinished basement, floors that were getting splinters in our feet to the point we had to put tape over them, multiple drafty doors, a dying laundry machine, rodent infestations, etc. Now after two years of being good tenants (who were consistently told by the caretaker of the property that we were doing an excellent job), they are withholding our deposit and demanding MORE money from us for THEIR damages (water damage, a missing fire detector, etc.) Make no mistake. These are scam artists with no good will or intention. Do not rent from Abbey Mortgage Company, they will play nice until your time is up. Nobody may see this, but I am sharing on the chance that someone who is thinking about renting from them does. Protect yourself.
