ANB Bank, Carbondale, CO

This is my first day with ANB… Obviously I can’t speak to the customer experience quite yet but I could not have asked for a more polite accommodating and friendly staff During the in-person account opening process. I was assisted by an adorable young lady with a radiant smile and sweet demeanor. Very simple straightforward expedient service. With that said, I will admit every bank I have ever dealt with had there own nuanced forms of aggravation. My advice is to find the one that annoys you the least and adjust your own financial habits to sync with theirs and keep on Truckin.

Anb bank in Carbondale is by far one of the worst places of business if you expect any kind of customer service. I have repeatedly tried to give them some grace when it comes to there lack of compassion and respect. The tellers are rude and condescending. After speaking with the branch manager the disrespectful tone remains the same. I wouldn't recommend this branch to anyone.

As stated in another review, I have also had an issue with with how rude the staff is, the tellers have always been kind and helpful though management there has not been kind. I was treated like a terrible person for having a check go through early and then I made it right that day and woke up to fees and a really rude woman to assist me and made me seem like trash for just having an issue with a check making rude comments. We are also in a pandemic and shaming people for having the kind of issue I have is awful, Im a hard working single mom fighting through a pandemic like so many others and to have that woman on the other line was awful and she was so disrespectful. Never have a dealt with a bank like this. Never will I recommend this branch to anyone.

I have been very unimpressed with ANB so far. In the past, I have used USAA, FirstBank, US Bank, and Wells Fargo for banking and the only bank I would rate worse is Wells Fargo. ANB's technology for mobile and online banking leaves you wanting. You have to fill out and submit a paper form to apply for online banking and although I have submitted this form and gone back and forth with ANB half a dozen times I still do not have online banking. Additionally, there have been a few times when ANB said they would complete something for me and contact me when it was ready (paperwork for an additional savings account, filling out online banking form, and contacting me with my new pin), and each of these times they failed to contact me; I had to follow up with them and more than once for each item (two of the three remain unresolved after months). The only reason for two stars is that the ANB staff are always very friendly.
