Benchmark Mortgage – Crested Butte, Crested Butte, CO

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this Benchmark location. When shopping around for mortgages, my husband and I (first time home-buyers) limited it down to Quicken and Benchmark. Benchmark was an option for us because they were local. We were in need of an FHA loan with the best rate that could be provided accompanied with the best service. Benchmark, ultimately, was able to provide that for us. We were pleased to be able to work with Marla Covey as our direct contact, and at times we worked with Elizabeth Ware. Both ladies were just so amazing to work with and they made this process as easy and as stress-free a mortgage process can be. I can't fully compare with Quicken, because we chose not to go with them, but I truly do believe the process would have been much more difficult had we gone with Quicken. Marla and Beth were always on top of things, keeping us in the loop daily of what was needed, letting us know if there was a hang-up of something somewhere and promptly letting us know how we could fix it. I liked going with a smaller company that was local (SUPPORT LOCAL!), I loved being able to go into the office to review items in person in order to get a better understanding of them (buying a home for the first time is very scary and overwhelming), I liked that they were able to quickly communicate with the underwriter about the loan when/if any issues were raised or if questions needed to be answered (for both parties), and I loved the enthusiasm and eagerness there was to make sure we were able to close on our first home on time. Which, by the way, we did! Somehow we made a 44 day closing happen and I have nothing but gratitude and thanks to our realtor and Benchmark for helping us succeed in doing so. I would recommend Crested Butte Benchmark to anyone looking into buying a home, and would most definitely recommend Marla and Beth to work with. They are true superstars! Thank you, again!

The Benchmark team was phenomenal! They made the entire process extremely easy for me. Due to their hard work I was able to close within weeks and get the home I really wanted. I cannot give them enough praise and anyone looking for a mortgage lender should highly consider using Benchmark. They took care of my family and made the experience pleasurable!!
