Del Norte Bank, Del Norte, CO

I have always been a member of a Credit Union, based on the customer service and lack of extra fees. I moved to Del Norte 3 years ago and decided to give the local bank a shot. Well, I have to say this was a great decision! I have received amazing service across the board, From straight banking to buying a house. Thank you, Del Norte Bank!

Our experience with Del Norte Bank is as sellers of a home that the buyers purchased through Del Norte Bank. As we worked through the process it became clear that the bank is really only interested in lending money on homes that it can immediately peddle to the secondary mortgage market. Throughout the process their communications were on the verge of rude and demanding. Each and every time they brought something up to take offense to it was something which we had ALREADY offered documentation on and in the one case where that wasn't the case, we had the documentation requested within a days time. Their obstinance to lending on our home to the new buyers was very much like climbing a mountain. In the end we accepted that the appraiser they had hired tried to ruin the sale by grossly undervaluing our property and decided to sell at an agreed upon price with the buyers that was in excess of the appraisal. In point of fact they cost us thousands of dollars and an incredible amount of time jumping through hoops. And we decided we would rather our buyers got the house and we lost some money rather than acquiesce to their desired outcome. I wouldn't use this bank if they had the last dollar available and I had a golden ticket guaranteeing free interest.

This local bank is truly a great bank! We are so lucky to have all the convenience and services Del Norte Bank offers right here in our little town. Everything from home loans to automatic bill pay. Safe deposit boxes too.

We have continuously been treated bad ..rude tellers ..literally have to ask the bank if I can spend money .in which we have a Commercial account..totally disrespect always ...they have done not anything to help us ...

I got shut down on a home loan by wellsfargo because their wasn’t enough comps on the property i was buying! Michael and team where able to get me the loan in 10 days we closed on the property yesterday! Thank you for your urgency and willingness to quickly help me close on this property!!! I highly recommend them.

Isabel opened my account and recognized me a week later when conducting business. Staff always welcoming and make me feel appreciated.
