SCL Mortgage assisted with the refinance of my home. I am happy to report that my mortgage loan originator Niko Stabekis and his team were amazing to work with during this process. While this was not easy for me, Niko was accessible via phone and text at all hours to ensure that my refinance went through. I started the refinance process twice with other companies prior to working with SCL and the customer service was day and night with how they communicated. I value when some shows empathy during this process, they were patient and treated my refinance as if it were their own. During this process they even extended my rate lock to ensure this went through. Trust SCL with any of your financing needs, I was skeptical when I got the call from them but it was the best decision I made going with SCL.

My wife and I are self employed and had talked with several lenders that just couldn’t help us with a refinance or they simply didn’t try to help, until we found Nathan at SCL Mortgage. I reached out to Nathan back in March of 2022 and he told me that whenever we were ready he would do everything he could to help us out, but to remember that rates would be moving up this year. I contacted him again in June, and he remembered me, and encouraged us to get started ASAP because of the way the Fed was moving up the rates. We worked closely together for the next two months, getting all of our tax returns and bank statements over and he made the whole process incredibly easy and streamlined even though we had to provide so many documents. He worked so hard for us when the underwriters had questions or didn’t understand something, and the entire time I felt that he wanted to get this done as bad as we did. In the end, we were able to close with a great rate, cash out and paying off all debt. I highly recommend SCL and in particular Nathan, and we will be using him again on our next home purchase in the future.

We were very fortunate to work with SCL’s Rebecca Soukup on our refi. After a disappointing experience with our mortgage lender of almost 20 years (we gave up after weeks of delays and confusion), Rebecca was a breath of fresh air. Very efficient and super responsive, she finished everything in a little over a month. Because of her timeliness, we were able to beat the next interest hike, lock in a very good rate, and take advantage of our equity. We would work with Rebecca again in a heartbeat!
