Citizens State Bank, Ouray, CO

I have been banking with this bank since 2017. It is bad enough that they are never long time workers that actually know exactly what they need to know to conduct banking properly and when they do actually get trained I go in and it’s new workers do you start all over hoping that your account is handled correctly. I closed all 4 accounts and will be using a bank more respectful to their customers needs! After a new worker did not communicate what they were suppose to communicate to me over fraudulent activity on my account. I lost half of the fraudulent activity amount only because the worker lied by saying she did I can not and will not ever trust this bank again even though it means I will drive down the mountain to do banking. This problem answered my question as to why so many residents of Silverton bank at banks in Durango and Ouray.

Citizens State Bank help my fiancé and I refinance the loan on our house! Our monthly payment was reduced significantly! We thoroughly enjoyed working with Lisa and the rest of the Citizens State Bank team!

What an incredible community bank! The service cannot be compared- they treat you with such respect, individual attention and are always willing to go above and beyond. The support they give and programs they fund locally are incredible. The power of banking locally for these small communities is huge and the level of service they provide is outstanding.
