Bank of the West, Steamboat Springs, CO

This has to be the WORST bank in this valley. Don’t waste your time, it literally just costs you money to have your money at this bank.

I have been banking with bank of the west for about 14 years now and they are by far the best bank in Steamboat. I always enjoy going in to see everyone and they have exceptional service! If your in between on choosing a bank choose bank of the west!

Drove from Craig to steamboat springs to make withdrawal today. Bank is closed at 1:18 pm. Called they say they might be open tomorrow. Warning Do not have your paycheck deposited into this bank . You won't be able to access it. Next closest branch is more then 4 hours away.

Their ATM ate my debit card over the weekend, and since they’re not open on Sunday when I left, I never got it back and they had to cut up my card. If you can’t trust a bank to have a working ATM I don’t know what’s going on.

I banked for years there& b.o.w. not cool

Been banking with Bank Of The West for over 10 years. BMO is absolutely awful. I highly recommend going somewhere else. I hate that Bank Of The West is gone and the helpful people / easy online tools too.

Recently went to this branch to cash in change as to not have to use a coin star and pay 8 cents per dollar and the girl behind the counter informs me they no longer have a coin counter and would not be able to take it unless rolled.... I'm guessing this is a move to digital and I will be moving to a bank that deals in hard cold cash first and respects even the lesser customers who would like a place to cash in their change all the while being in good standing as a customer and nothing but less and less services are offered at this branch. Garbage service that's what bank of the west steamboat springs can offer you. Oh and a lot of we are sorry for the inconvenience.

Very friendly and helpful bank. Bernardino Garcia is super knowledgeable. He takes the time to really get to know me and my needs - I’ve always had a positive experience.
