I am a first time single homebuyer and came across Jim Ryder and his team from Fairway Independent Mortgage Company. I am very thankful for Jim’s professional, responsive and honest assistance with the whole mortgage process from beginning to end. He made himself available to me via any method of my choice - email, business phone or cell phone, which I appreciated and took advantage of. I am grateful for all of Jim’s work he devoted to my first home purchase which at times was confusing and stressful. Thank you for your assistance throughout the loan process. Jim and his team at Fairway Mortgage are top notch. My husband is self employed and the process of getting a mortgage approval is very intense and stressful. We first started off with a bank in CT who couldn’t have cared less if we closed and had an extremely lackadaisical approach with some of the worst customer service I have ever seen out of a financial institution. Unfortunately, we were very rattled and stressed out by that experience not knowing if we would even receive a mortgage commitment. I have worked for 2 credit unions and I worked for an appraisal management company and I understand how critical the industry is and time is of the essence. At the advice of our realtor Jason McKiernan, we contacted Jim. I personally could tell by the way he was on top of things he was the one who would close the deal. I personally love people who don’t waste time, manage expectations, and also treat the customer with respect and Jim did all that. His assistant Nina is also very detail oriented and very knowledgeable on what it takes to close loans in a timely manner. They knew my husband and I were stressed out from the previous experience and were very patient with questions my husband had. If I didn’t have 3 young children I would love to work for this company. I miss the days of crossing people to the finish line and assisting them with difficult tasks. Jim and his team were amazing and I will be recommending them to friends, family and also other realtors. They also stay in constant contact and there won’t be a day that will go by where you don’t here from them- unlike the awful bank we started with. Very happy with this whole experience!
