United Check Cashing, New London, CT

I have never had worse customer service. The way the woman treated and spoke to me was unbelievable. I recently closed my bank account and switched to online however my first check from new job had to be cashed at a "bank." My id and my check had 2 different addresses and I had been there once like 10 years ago. She asked me which one was correct and I said A not B or C. She was so rude and told me if I can't make up the correct address then she won't cash the check... apparently the B address i thought I had used there before was not accurate and because I didn't know which one I had used she thought it was ok to be MEAN. I walked out holding back tears. So if your like me and still use your parents addresses on your ID but live on your own, or if you move a lot. Or im sure a billion other reasons.dont go here. They treat you as if you needing to cash your check makes you lesser than them

this place used be good , used have great customers service. the women that works there arerude, and disrespectful. walk away from the counter when trying to talk to theffm. on the phone. even though they no cell phones at the window . why they on the phone . nasty attitude. ,

The older lady that works there provides horrible customer service. First, she gives you an attitude and is always talking on her phone. Never going there again.

I've always had very positive experiences when using UCC and find the cashiers to be pleasant and efficient. The ppl who have nothing but negative experiences are upset that they weren't able to get away with scamming the place. I've seen a LOT of ppl who get checks from between $2-5gs in the mail randomly, and then get all mad at the cashiers when they are told the truth, that it's a FAKE CHECK! If it sounds too good to be true IT IS, mamma wasn't lying.

Extremely rude and unprofessional.over the phone unwelcoming and rude. They don’t answer properly and they hang up in peoples face. I wish there was a way to make a formal complaint because of the service is just that terrible. Would not recommend, better off going to Walmart at least that will be an actual business like transaction rather than the rude experience I and so many others have encountered.

Service was bad.They have told me their Western Union service is down Everytime I have gone there, I have yet to cash a check from my job there because they don't have the funds (multiple times). I don't want to say too much but the attitude is by far the worse service I have dealt with. They roll their eyes and energy say> I DONT WANT TO HELP YOU **** off. I don't make reviews but if a business sells phone and never have any phone why are they there. Tired of going to the place thinking I'm going to get the service they claim to have, to then have drive to Walmart now for the next cash and check/Western union.

Wish I could give this place NO stars as the woman at the counter is rude and nasty soon as you walk through the door she an attitude and this isn’t the first time either. She should not be working on customer service !!
