Misleading information on their website led me to apply for a debt reduction loan to pay off 4 of my credit cards and get them into one payment. After getting pre approved, they ask you to proceed with the application. Once you do a hard pull on your credit is done, which is fine and what I expected for a loan. After submitting I received a call to verify all my information. Once verified, the lady on the phone said my 9000 approval was reduced to 2000 and that's all they can do. They do not include any bonus you get from work if you get one as income. So my 10k anual bonus was not added to my income. The website application ask for salary, bonuses, alimony, child support etc. as your income to help you "better" be approved... So at the end of the day and wasted time with a hard pull on my credit now, I denied the 2000 loan from what was supposed to be a 9000 on pre approval. 2000 isn't worth my time and does not consolidate my 4 cards I was looking to get into one payment. If anything it would add another payment to what I'm already trying to reduce. For this I give them a 1 Star and want to share with others to be aware the information in the begging is false and they will drastically reduce the loan you need to a loan they want you to have, which may in turn not be what you need to consolidate you debts into one payment. Welp lesson learned and I hope this helps others in the future! Beware!!! Lol

After going over their process I decided not to go ahead and the rep hung up the phone on me. That confirmed the fact that this company was not the right option for me.

My experience with OneMain Financials Personal Loan application and processing was nothing but perfect! Isaac was always available for my questions, and had fantastic insight to what the loan would do to my credit score. It wasn't about settling a loan with me, it was about making sure this was the right option for my goals. OneMain Financials process is SO easy and the turn-around was fast as well. I never give a review at all, but today I felt like I had too. Been with OneMain for about 2 years I had bad credit, they call me to ask if I wanted more money I declined, but I thought about it because I need to pay some bills that are behind. I call them back to see where I stand, so I did and she comes back and said I need collateral I didn’t need it before and had bad credit my credit now is fair enough to get approved!are you kidding me,I’m so disappointed with them ,and to tell me sorry I can’t do anything wow and just hung up not cool at all. And I have direct deposit with them to top it off.

Very good service. Very helpful. I could not ask for more.
