Platinum Auto Finance, Clearwater, FL

Is this company still open? I’ve been trying to reach them for 3 weeks with no return calls. No one answers. I leave message and messages. When I hit the choice to make a payment it tells me this number is no longer active. Does anyone have an active number to anyone at this company?

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GET A LOAN FROM THESE PEOPLE! They reported to the credit bureau that I have not made a payment in 60 - 90 days. Dropped my credit score nearly 70 points. I called them immediately, sent in all bank statements, and 2 months later still NOT fixed. Every time I call they say they will send an email to get it fixed, they will make phone calls, they will have it fixed no later than blank day. It is a joke! DO NOT recommend even the slightest!

This place is the worst finance place known to man. This people swindled me out of my car payment an still reposesse my car. They added on fees that did not apply to me, they added on a 500 dollar reposession fee that i did not need when i was was not 4-6 months in the rear. They put me with another finance place called nicolas that i did not even know about. Among other things if you know whats good for you do Not finance with these people.

I gave this company 5 stars but now it’s a 1 because I had a loan with them and my Insurance company paid off the balance after I was involved in An accident but they sent me to collection over an amount that was never communicated to me and they cannot figure out why? I kept asking them why it was even sent? Why would they not give the full payoff amount to my insurance at the time when it would have handled. No, they did not care to tell me about anything until I received a notice that I had something on my credit from these fools. Please don’t trust them.

The only reason I gave 3 stars is because I haven't personally used them yet. I just received an offer in the mail for up to $37,580 for "Vehicle Bankruptcy Stimulus Fund". It sounded very tempting until I read all these horrible reviews 🤣. Thank you for the warning, I'm definitely throwing this offer in the trash. I don't do buisness with unprofessional trashy businesses. If anyone else should go through what some of these people have please report them to "The Bureau of Automotive Repair". They will investigate and if they get alot of complaints they will get shut down!
