I've used this branch several times in the past and was pleased with the service. I went back yesterday and it was a completely different experience. I was told I was approved for $4000 and had to come into the office to sign. When I got to the office I was told I was only going to be able to get $3500 due to my income. Before I was handed my check I was asked to endorse a separate check that was presented to me upside-down so that I couldn't see the amount and then was quickly pulled away. After I left the office I reviewed my paperwork and discovered that the"secret" check was for $500 which meant that my loan was for the original about of $4000 but I only received $3500. There reasoning was that it was for a home and auto policy. I have canceled the policy and now have to wait 30 days for the $500 dollars to be refunded to me. This is all very shady and I will not be returning nor would I recommend their service to anyone.

I have used Mariner Finance for my needs for several years and will continue to turn to them for their ease of process and extreme friendliness!

Service was fast, friendly people, every detail of my loan was explained without even asking. They just wanted to make sure I understood my loan. I started my process over the phone easy and just went to sign papers and receive the check. The check can be cashed at the bank near their location, which added convenience. Overall, very happy with their service.

The agent didn’t take me seriously when I called in for a loan and I’ve been a customer for over 5 years. It might be because I’m low income and didn’t borrow much. He said will call you back but it took me calling him back to get the loan started. When I got there the next day to finalize the loan it was just as I thought no warm welcoming smiles just looks of discomfort from the people who work there. This is similar to the last group of people who worked at that office.

Kyle was very professional and friendly. Gave all options that I didn’t realize I had. Left with the cash I needed already in my bank account and I improved my credit score. Highly recommend!
