I would like to say that the service I have received from the One Main Financial Branch on 5174 SW 34 st Gainesville, Fl 32608 was unacceptable. “Susan” and “Teresa” are extremely unprofessional. I completed my application on Nov. 25 2021. Susan made me feel as if my application was unimportant by telling me that she has “1,400 other applications that I’m working on as well” this is fine but I asked her “when should I expect someone to call me back with any information” and she replied “I don’t know”. The energy from these two women is very unenthusiastic and nonchalant. It is almost as if I am bothering them when in fact I am a customer. They are not at all helpful or informative, I received all of the proper information by calling the customer service number instead. The customer service representative told me that I need to upload all of my documents online and call customer service back instead of the local branch so I can receive the proper assistance. Neither “Susan” or “Teresa” told me anything about uploading documents. Every time Susan or Teresa answer the phone they always say they will give me a call back later or they are busy doing something. It is now Dec. 21 2021 and I am being told on the website I am unable to get a loan. This is RIDICULOUS! You two women are biased... I wouldn’t be surprised if you had anything to do with me not being able to get my loan in a time of depression and bad health. What goes around comes around!

I had needed some serious help lately and i have never been late and when i needed them most they turned their back on me.. But yet every month or more they send me loan offer's not a good company to rely on at all......

OneMain provided our debt consolidation loan. The application process was simple with fast approval. The OneMain staff were very knowledgeable and made the closing process easy.

Within hours I had my loan. Most of the work was done via phone and all I needed to do was sign my name, when I arrived at the business. Very Fast! I recommend!

I was speaking with Danielle Roberts (who is getting married soon, so that may not be her last name for long) at the Gainesville, FL branch for a loan for our wedding. I read terrible reviews online for this company, but with a good credit score on my part and almost 6 years of credit history for cars (6 mths for a house and care credit card) I figured I shouldn't have that hard of a time. We requested from the beginning $10,000 loan and when speaking with her verbally expressed my concern with a hard hit on our credit report (do not be fooled by the no credit check link on the website, it tells just about everyone you will be eligible for $5,250). Thinking we had a chance both my fiancé and I applied together for a loan of $10,000. Danielle came back to us saying that if we payed off my new vehicle ($15,000) that they could loan is $1,500.... Yes you read that right. If we are looking for $10,000 (that was don't have) we will get $1,500 from them after spending $15,000. Now my step father has a truck he was willing to use as collateral for us, but I didn't want to mention this because it was our very last option. So when I heard this ridiculous offer from them, since we already had a hard hit on our credit reports, I brought it up. When I expressed my disappointment when she told us she KNEW with a $10,000 loan we would need collateral and DID NOT tell us that in the first place and instead came back with the ridiculous $1,500 offer, she said "well I said collateral may be required". This is a 100% lie and I told her this, which she had no response to proving even more so that she knew she didn't say this to us. After giving in and providing her with the vin of the truck, they valued it at $5,950. The value we were hoping for was $8,500 because as Danielle said, that should give us enough to get to the $10,000 we would need. Ok so I figured we would be looking at getting $7,500-$8,000 which we could work with. Nope! She came back saying we may be able to get $5,000, not even a guarantee. So not only would we not get the value of the car, but we are still no where near what we need. Since this whole process took THREE DAYS! I tried looking at other sites that were just brought to my attention during that time. One that looked the most promising told us since we had a hard hit so close to speaking to them that they couldn't help us..... Just don't waste your time here. I know this was a lengthy review, but no matter how good your credit is and how little debt to ratio you have, don't be so desperate to go here. It's just not worth it and you only hurt yourself. I really don't want anyone to go through the 3 day error, huge error, that I made for my fiancé and myself. I feel so stupid that I read a couple of good reviews and hoped that would be us. It won't be....

This is an exceptional place to do business. They treat you like family. They are not pushy and do every thing they can to help you get what you need and that will get you taken care of. Will definitely do business with them if needed in the future.

I have been doing business with OneMain Financial for almost 2years now, and I must say that I have had nothing but great experiences! The staff has shown me nothing but genuine concern, especially after my horrible car accident! I am so grateful for the kindness and concern shown by Ms. TERESA AND MS. SUZANNE!! They are at the 34th Branch in Gainesville Florida, and although at times they were short staffed, they always made sure to follow up after I leave a message! Also, during my loan process, all the products were explained to me, to help me in case of unexpected incidents like the one I had. I am happy I signed up for the benefits as they came in handy!! If you don't believe me, check them out for yourself! They will do their best to help you out!!!
