Got to say it's getting better but still not great yes customer service needs to improve. Rachel the manager is great I've been coming to her for 7 years now and never a bad experience. She has excellent customer service and very understanding. She desire a reward.

I recently spoke with the manager of this location about the services that their location, and Amscot in general, offer to the public... and she was very friendly, speaking with a smile on her face, and not talking to me like she was trying to get me to use one of their services while I was there. But, before I left I figured I'd try out paying a bill with cash; not something I ever do anymore. I didn't mind the wait as it was less than five minutes, but by the time I got to the window I noticed immediately that the teller was not in a good mood... when it was my turn to approach the window, she wasn't even looking up, and yelled "Next!" I hoped that my subtle cheerfulness would help her to maybe put a smile on her face, but during our transaction she was slamming drawers and had an attitude the entire time, almost giving me orders of where to initial and where to sign and date--even though I continued to speak to her calmly. Towards the end I said very politely, "I hope your workday ends soon so you can go home and have a nice Friday evening... setting yourself up for a great weekend." Now I know that she was listening to me, but instead of any sort of response, she yelled out "Next!".
I'm going right back to paying for everything electronically... but at least I can say that I have paid a bill using cash at a third party Financial Institution.
I know that I'll need a Money Order at some point every few years, and whenever I do, I will use Amscot because you can't beat free.

Bad business, Western Union users, be aware, they ask for your social security in order to create an account, Publix and other WU providers don't. Bad customer service, 3 attendant inside talking, I was the only client waiting. Customers be aware !!!!

Good service. Bad reviews Al Amscot are based in not getting the money the customer wanted but getting the money they can get approved base on income. Other customers bad reviews are because the want to cash checks and do not want to answer any questions. Is the Amscot money and they care about it. Amscot gives u money and wait days to get that money from the companies people work for. People confusing customer service with not getting what the want. I go to Amscot for money order to pay my rent nothing else. I have seen broke people insulting employees in several location just because the got approved for 200 and they want 1000 pay day loans. Hard workers and good people here
