From the beginning to the end of the process the staff of RP Funding was excellent to work with. We only had one glitch which was not the staff's fault. There was an issue of Forbearance clause oversight on our part which quickly resolved. Juanita, the agent sent to handle the document notarizing was the sweetest and most professional one could ask for. Thanks again. We have commented to our friends at church the awesomeness of our team.

I'd like to give recognition to Jessica Bowman, AVP of sales. While I didn't refinance with RP Funding, I called them to rate match an offer I did receive and eventually went ahead with. As per their policy, I gave them all the paperwork to proceed with their meet or beat guarantee to receive my $1,000. It took months of being ignored by phone and email and messages direct to their website. When I received a phone call from an operator, I said I was all set with the financing but no one's followed up with me regarding my $1,000 claim. I was transferred to Jessica, who I'm sure was very disappointed I wasn't a hot lead to refinance, but she listened to what I had to say and got on the case to get me the money I was entitled to. After over a year and a half of waiting, we recently received the check we were entitled to. I appreciate RP Funding for standing by their guarantee and employees like Jessica who go the extra mile for customers. While I have no refinance needs at the moment, I would absolutely call on Jessica and refer potential clients to her because of her willingness to do what was right.

On a whim, I went to their website and started filling out the forms…within minutes the phone rang and I was speaking to a live person! Wanted to know my story, etc. Sonia then took over and she LISTENED to me and how frustrated I was about the lending process. Without giving too much away, a single mom with a great job, tons of equity, and tons of credit card debt. Sonia got to know my situation and was very real, from the appraisal process to the great news that not only did I have options…I had a potential closing date! She advised me of “best case scenarios” and what she would professionally recommend. In a nutshell, within six weeks I closed on a loan I’d been trying to get for a year + I paid off alllllll my credit card & loan debt, and I have $ left over for home improvements and an emergency fund. The follow up, follow through and even the call after the closing to clarify (oh did I mention Sonia was also available by text!) — I’m so thankful for my experience with RP Funding…And the financial freedom I have now.

This was the easiest process I could have hoped for. I was kept informed throughout and knew where we were at each step. The whole team was outstanding but Tania was phenomenal. When there was a title issue she worked tirelessly to get it resolved and allowed us to close on time. I highly recommend RP Funding to anyone looking for a mortgage or home loan.

BUYER BEWARE! RP funding aka Mortgage Lenders hires unprofessional and rude individuals. They give these unethical and unqualified individuals the power to ruin a RP funding long standing customer’s credit score. Maria Holloway is the example of a horrible customer service orientated individual that works at Mortgage Lenders which is under the umbrella of RP Funding. Her “professional” Linkedin photo is a filtered selfie with a bed in the background… this is someone that RP Funding provides a title of “VP” to. So beware when choosing a company as their employees are a direct image of the company- and Maria’s lack of empathy and customer service reflects that RP funding does not care about their customers. RP Funding moved my mortgage to Mortgage Lenders without my knowledge (mortgage lenders is still owned by RP funding). I was on autopay and was never late on a payment for the 8 years I’ve been a customer with RP funding. Even when I was furloughed and jobless for a year during COVID, I paid my bill on time. Once they switched over, they did not switch over my autopay. I never saw one piece of mail about the switch over since they told me that sending certified mail to everyone would be “too expensive”. In their system they had me down as “leaving a voicemail, but voicemail box was full”- so I never received any of their calls as most likely my phone probably thought they were a spam call. And they said they sent emails, but I have proof that I never opened up one message since it was in my junk. Long story short, I discovered that my autopay had stopped working (without my knowledge) and I didn’t pay my mortgage for 4 months (my mortgage is a small payment, so I wouldn’t have noticed the difference in my bank account). As soon as I discovered it, I paid the amount in full immediately. I paid the late fee. And I requested if there was a way to reverse the ding on my credit score as I provided proof of my lack of knowledge of the non-payment and paid immediately. A simple one time courtesy request was denied by Maria Holloway even though she knew that having this ding on my credit score would prohibit me from getting any loans for a year (I was in the process of trying to buy a home, so her rejection would ruin any chance for a loan ). She’s ruined my life for a year over a proven accident, and there is no one else in the company that has been able to help me. So when choosing your lender- find a lender that cares about customer service, especially a customer who did nothing wrong.

Two positive experiences with RP FUNDING. Easy, Reliable, Fast, what more can you ask? Closing in our home was convenient. Basically, fantastic. Would recommend without hesitation.
