I've had only excellent experiences at the Melbourne Amscot!!! When you feel ignored it's because they're taken care of other customers and you need to wait your turn!!! Next time give yourself more time and maybe you'll have more patience...

The guy behind the counter with a Napoleon complex was unbelievable! He stuck to his lie instead of being man enough to fess up that he just needed to feel some kind of power when he insisted on my license to PAY loan instead of asking my name or having me write it down like EVERY SINGLE clerk I've encountered over the last few years. When I called him out on it, he still clung to his lie saying he had to have ID to know who he was dealing with. LIE! I've even sent other ppl in to pay for me plenty of times, an ID is never required to PAY only take out! What a jerk!

Free money orders. Free is right in my price range. Lol

Wasted 20 minutes trying to pay off a cash advance because they took two other people ahead of me that had much longer things to do, they could have quite easily leaned in and asked "hey what are you here for oh I can do that in 5 seconds" but instead they just completely ignored me.

Walked in this morning with a man behind me. A female employee was on the phone, another female was at the desk behind her. I walked up to the employee and took out my ID and a pen. The man next to me took out paper. When she hung up the phone I said "Good morning, I'd like a cash advance, please". She got on the computer and said "I'll be right with you". Another person walked in. All 3 of us in a row, me and the other 2 next to me on my left. She got off the computer, walked past my window to the man next to me and asked if he was just cashing or paying off his loan. She then poked her head over to my cubicle and stated "Just a cash advance, right?" I said "Yes". She then proceeds to help the man!!!! I couldn't believe it😔 I slowly put my ID and pen back into my purse, zipped it up, then slowly turned and walked out. She didn't say a word- I'm confused, but why would she do that???
