Ameris Bank, Palatka, FL

Had a wonderful experience yesterday. Terre assisted me in opening an account and depositing bonds. She was very nice, helpful, and I felt very comfortable there. Her along with everyone else there were very professional and helpful. I’ve written reviews before, though never about a bank. I was impressed by the friendliness, helpfulness, and thoroughness presented. I wasn’t rushed and everything was well explained to me. This was the best in person banking experience I’ve ever had. I’m happy to call this my new brick & mortar bank and love that it’s right in town.

Terre is great. She is always been friendly and professional each time we’ve been in. Everybody at the bank has always been very nice and inviting. We are very pleased with way our banking needs are handled.

I stopped in my local branch and Dawn couldn't even open a simple checking account. I mentioned my current bank, Synovus, was able to attach my nickname, Rocky, to my account. With zero thought or effort Dawn said she couldn't and that was that. No solution offered, no "Let's get you an account without your nickname on it and we can see later", nothing. I don't need a local account but I just wanted to support my community. Dawn apparently feels that isn't worth her time. I'll be keeping my Synovus account. They put effort into their customers. "... been in banking 20 years." Doesn't mean you're good at it, Dawn.

Pleasant people, especially Terre. No long obnoxious automated menu to reach a human. Good policies, much better than Regions bank we left. This is the way banking should be.

Palatka Fl branch, Terre , was awesome discovered an issue that was not any fault of mine and kept on top of it and kept in touch with me until the issue was resolved. And everyone every time I went in there was very friendly and professional.

Our local AMERIS Bank is great. Terre is great. The tellers are great. Everyone is helpful and cheerfully put up with my bad jokes. When we moved here we wanted a local bank to do business with - not some national or international faceless conglomerate. We’ve been with AMERIS since 2009 (it was Prosperity then) and have always had the best of service. Highly recommended.

Service with a smile can be found at Ameris Bank. Terre has been a blessing. Other personnel have been pleasant when assisting. Thanks for being there.
