TD Bank, Palatka, FL

Originally a customer of Commerce Bank, I loved their hours and their service. Then TD Bank took over and shortened the hours, got rid of Penny Arcade and started charging fees for everything. The service is still great and the staff here is always friendly and helpful. But you still can't beat the old Commerse Bank business model.

My account was recently compromised. Had my money stolen by the owner of a convenient store “ Palatka Food Mart.” An amount no one would spend at a convenient store. TD Bank has done everything in their power NOT to help me. Even going as far as making it seem like it was my fault. I was told “ this happens ALL the time.” They declined my dispute saying the pin number was used as if to say no you made this purchase. The assistant manager even rolled her eyes when I tried to show GPS proof that I was driving when the transaction occurred. At the beginning of the dispute I was told I need to file a police report to which I did. I tried to give them the report number and my GPS information that has been notarized. They declined it at that time. Now that I’ve had to go back to find out the dispute was declined I was then told that I would need to go to the police department and pay to have the report printed out and bring it back to them to be resubmitted. Every step of the way they have basically called me a liar. I have since moved any money I have coming in to a new bank and I would suggest that everyone else close their accounts and move their money before this happens to them. Because again as I was told by TDBank staff “THIS HAPPENS ALL TIME.”

This bank is the worst banking institution I have EVER encountered. They have screwed up my deposits and upon inquiring about it and disputing it keep being told that nobody has looked at my "case" yet. You can NEVER get a live technician over the phone and cannot speak to a human anytime you call the numbers given. Save yourself the trouble and headache and us ANY other bank. They cant be as worthless of an institution as the TD bank has been for me. They do not give a damn about you or any hardships or financial losses you incur because of THEIR mistakes! Pitiful excuse for a bank

The staff at this bank make all the difference. They are courteous and helpful and easy to reach out to. Jasmine has been a pleasure to work with. Night and day difference, when comparing to Bank of America. Can't say enough good things.
