We would strongly encourage everyone to find anyone OTHER than Loan Depot for lending. They strung us along until a week before closing, just to lie and say they didn’t know what type of employment we held…when they sent us copies of our employment, funds, etc. Communication was horrible. We felt like we were stalking them and phone calls went days without getting returned. They are obviously not well trained in honesty and if not for our realtor/builder being witness to their dishonesty, we’d have lost our money. Please do your research and go with someone else. It’ll save you time, money and stress.

So far I have nothing but great things to say about the team at loan depot. They always ensure I have the information I need and I work very hard to ensure my loan goes through with no problems.

I wish I could give it negative stars. They ran my credit, I got approved for the loan, and then I never heard from them again. Not only that, it shows up on my credit as if I have a mortgage loan and I don’t. I can’t get it off my credit and it has a huge impact on my score. This is a nightmare
