Absolutely a 5 star bank! The BEST customer service around! We Love our bankers at the Capital City Port St. Joe branch! We honestly can't say enough about how wonderful they are!

Signed an "adjustable rate" mortgage with them in 2005 for a piece of property. What they forgot to point out is that they had placed a floor of 6.75% on the interest rate, so as the market tanked and my property lost value, I am still paying that 6.75% when I could have been at least benefiting from lower interest rates. Letters to the bank resulted in a phone call that yielded no adjustment. This is what "predatory" lending is all about.

The entire staff at this bank are so friendly and helpful. Building is also super nice and they often have treats at the front door. Definitely recommend banking with Capital City!
