Amscot - The Money Superstore, Sarasota, FL

Chris the manager does everything he can to make us happy, very hard to do considering the way some folks act in public. The guy worked real calm under fire while I was in doing some business, the store was busy and there was an unruly customer acting a fool, Chris kept his calm all the while taking care of me and that customer....with a smile and professionally. *please keep in mind that there is no sign in the joint that grants permission to talk to the workers like they are scum, hate to say it but we’re the ones doing business at Amscot!! I went in to get money from a Money Gram and they denied me b/c I owed $25 fee which was from Them for an entirely different transaction 2 years ago. I also went in for a roll of quarters and they wanted to charge me .50 for it. I went to another Amscot and they honored my Money Gram and DID not charge me for a roll of quarters. The blonde headed lady at the teller stated my information aloud in-front of the other customers and the Spanish Manager agreed with her . They wanted my social security number stated aloud and Manager was so very rude to me. I would never go to this Ghetto Amscot. Not only are they rude but they are not willing to accommodate anyone. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First time going into this location This is the worst place to get money order, the staff were so slow, thet need you to fill our paperwork for money order. They wanted my social security number stated aloud and manager was so rude, not only are they rude but they are not willing to accommodate anyone They wasted my time for nothing.

I personally go to this location because of 1 person Daniel the mamager. His customer service skill are outstanding. Everytime time I visit this place Im greated with a giant smile and a can do attitude. Amscot Thank you.......

They want you to fill out a form with all of your info including social security number just to be able to send money using westerunion,Doesnt sound right
